Installation of the composite hardboard production line

The installation of a Composite hardboard production line is a highly technical and precise system engineering. The installation quality directly affects the efficiency of future production, cardboard quality, equipment lifespan, and energy consumption.

The production line is usually installed in sections according to the process: raw paper rack → preheating cylinder → single-sided machine → double-sided machine (glue machine) → drying channel (hot plate section) → longitudinal cutting and creasing machine → transverse cutting machine → stacking machine.

1. Raw paper holder and preheating cylinder

Raw paper holder: Ensure the concentricity and levelness of each support arm, ensuring smooth rotation of the raw paper roll without axial movement. The debugging of braking or tension systems should be sensitive.

Preheating cylinder: During installation, ensure that the cylinder body is absolutely level and matches the center height of the subsequent single-sided machine. Steam pipeline installation requires drain valves and pressure reducing valves to ensure uniform preheating.

2. Single sided machine (corrugated forming machine)

This is the 'heart' of the entire line, with the highest installation accuracy requirement.

Horizontal and Parallel: The lower corrugated roller and pressure roller must be strictly horizontal, and the two rollers must be strictly parallel. High precision level gauges and micrometers are usually used for repeated measurement and adjustment.

Gap adjustment: The gaps between the corrugated roller and the pressure roller, as well as between the coating roller and the lower corrugated roller, must be accurately preset according to the process requirements of the production paper type (A/B/C/E corrugated, etc.). Use a dedicated feeler gauge to measure multiple points to ensure uniform and consistent gaps.

Thermal balance: The connection of the steam pipeline should ensure that the two rollers are evenly heated to prevent deformation of the roller body due to temperature differences.

3. Double sided machine, gluing machine, and drying channel (hot plate section)

Alignment and tension control: The installation of guide rollers and tension rollers must ensure precise alignment, so that the single-sided corrugated paper can enter the double-sided machine smoothly and without tilting.

Glue application system: The parallelism between the glue roller and the floating roller is crucial. The glue tank should be level, and the glue amount control device should be flexible and precise.

Drying channel (hot plate section):

Horizontal and flat: All hot plates must be on the same horizontal plane and have a flat surface. The height difference between the hot plates should be extremely small.

Conveyor belt installation: This is a technical difficulty. During installation, tension should be applied from the middle to both ends, and a tension meter should be used to ensure that the tension of each section of the conveyor belt is uniform and consistent. Uneven tension can cause the cardboard to deviate, arch, or break. During operation, the conveyor belt must run in the center of the hot plate without deviation.

Hot plate lifting system: The lifting mechanism should be synchronized and stable to ensure even pressure.

4. Longitudinal cutting and creasing machine (paper separation and line pressing machine)

Horizontal and straightness of guide rail: The guide rail of the longitudinal cutting machine must be high-precision horizontal and straight, which is the basis for ensuring neat cutting edges and accurate line pressing.

Tool installation: The upper and lower tool shafts must be parallel, the blade and wire roller of the cardboard production line must be securely installed, and the gap adjustment must be fast and accurate. Suggest using the default system.

5. Cross cutting machine (computer-controlled rotary cutting machine)

Synchronization with the slitting machine: The drive of the cross cutting machine must maintain strict electrical synchronization with the main drive (or slitting machine) of the production line, which is the key to ensuring the accuracy of the cutting length.

Parallel cutting edge and gap: The moving and fixed blades must be parallel throughout their entire length, with a uniform gap (usually 0.08-0.15mm). Manual turning inspection is required after installation.

Base fixation: The base of the cross cutting machine must be firm and free from vibration.

6. Stacker

Synchronize with the cross cutting machine: The conveying speed and lifting action of the stacker must be perfectly coordinated with the cross cutting cycle, and precisely coordinated by the control system.

Flatness: The paper receiving platform and lifting platform should be level to ensure neat stacking.

The essence of installing an automatic paper hardboard production line lies in "precision, flatness, alignment, and smoothness" - high precision, good level, alignment, and smooth operation. This is a system engineering that requires patience, meticulousness, and extensive experience. Strictly adhering to the manufacturer's specifications and relying on a professional team are the key to success.
